Coop Sleep Goods Enters Beauty Market With Copper-Infused Bedding Line

Coop Sleep Goods, the Irvine-based bedding manufacturer known for customizable pillows, has entered the beauty and wellness category with the launch of Copper+, a collection of copper-infused sheets and pillows designed to reduce bacteria and odor during sleep.
The line consists of the Copper+ Pillow and Copper+ Sheet Set, both woven with copper-infused fibers that the company claims help reduce acne and odor-causing bacteria by up to 99.9%. The pillow retains Coop's signature adjustable design, allowing consumers to customize height and firmness by adding or removing graphene-infused memory foam fill. Both the outer cover and inner liner of the pillow feature copper infusion. The matching sheet set is available in White and Dove Grey and maintains performance through 50 washes, according to the company.
The expansion reflects a strategic shift for Coop, which built its reputation on ergonomic sleep solutions rather than skincare benefits. The company is positioning the new collection as an extension of consumers' nightly beauty routines, arguing that the eight-plus hours spent in contact with bedding warrant treating the products as part of self-care. Debbie Liu, Director of Products Development and Merchandising at Coop Sleep Goods, stated: "Your nighttime routine shouldn't end when you turn off the lights. Copper+ is designed to make your bedding an extension of your self-care routine, bringing together the comfort and personalization Coop is known for with skincare-inspired innovation to help consumers wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day."
Pricing for the Copper+ line ranges from $129 for a Queen pillow to $139 for a King pillow. The Copper+ Sheet Set is priced at $169 for both Queen and King sizes. The collection launched September 15 at Coopsleepgoods.com.
The move positions Coop within the broader convergence of sleep wellness and beauty categories, where brands increasingly market bedding and sleep products as health interventions. Whether consumers treat the copper-infused bedding as a discretionary beauty purchase or incorporate it into mainstream bedding replacement cycles will determine the category's commercial viability.
