Blue Flag Capital and Collared Martin Hospitality have opened Faraway Sag Harbor and Faraway Jackson Hole, marking the first expansion of the Faraway Hotels brand beyond its New England island origins. The two properties, which opened within weeks of each other in June, signal a significant territorial shift for the boutique hospitality operator, moving from Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard to the Hamptons waterfront and the American West.

Faraway Sag Harbor, a 67-room hotel, is built on a reimagining of the Baron's Cove property and draws inspiration from the village's maritime and whaling heritage. Designed in collaboration with Jenny Bukovec Studio, the interiors follow an Oceanic Revival concept using sea-toned palettes and layered textures. Zagara, an Amalfi Coast-inspired restaurant led by Executive Chef and Culinary Director Jarad McCarroll, serves as the property's anchor. The restaurant extends from an indoor dining room to an outdoor terrace overlooking the harbor, with a private dining room. Additional amenities include a heated outdoor pool with cabanas, a padel court, spa treatment rooms seasonally operated by ONDA Beauty, a fitness center, and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.

In Wyoming's Teton Village, Faraway Jackson Hole comprises 90 guestrooms and suites, 51 residences, and direct access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The property, which builds on the legacy of the former Snake River Lodge, is designed in collaboration with Workshop/APD and Jenny Bukovec Studio around a "Wild Western Homestead" concept incorporating alpine influences and Western heritage through natural materials and warm textures. Sure Hand, an all-day restaurant and bar, anchors the guest experience with locally inspired cuisine and craft cocktails overlooking the surrounding mountains. Wellness amenities including an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, and sauna are slated to debut in August. Later this summer, the property will offer curated adventure excursions through Backcountry Safaris, including horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and tours of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Jason Brown, Co-Founder and CEO of Blue Flag Capital, stated: "From the beginning, our goal with Faraway was never to create a formula, but rather a collection of hotels that each tell a unique story about the place they inhabit." Brad Guidi, Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer, added: "Every design decision, restaurant concept, and guest experience was developed specifically for its destination."

The expansion occurs alongside other recent Blue Flag Capital projects, including Hotel Corduroy in Montauk and Oyster Estate in Greenport, slated to open later this summer. The company's existing collection includes Blue Iris, Brass Lantern Inn, and Life House Nantucket, alongside Faraway Nantucket and Faraway Martha's Vineyard. The additions position Faraway as a growing multi-market brand, with each property shaped around distinct local narratives rather than standardized operational templates.
