Formula 1 will stage a three-day fan event in Milan from February 18-20, 2027, marking the return of F1 Live following the success of F1 75 Live at The O2 in London during 2025.

The Milan event will consist of two components: a Milan Fan Festival spanning all three days and F1 The Show, a single evening spectacle scheduled for February 18 featuring drivers and Team Principals from all 11 teams, along with music and entertainment programming. The 2025 London edition drew 7.5 million viewers to its live broadcast across 37 global territories, establishing a benchmark for what organizers describe as an expanded format.

Stefano Domenicali, President & CEO of Formula 1, said the event aims to immerse fans in the sport rather than simply offering spectator access. "We want them to feel that they are not simply watching the sport, but they are truly immersed in it," Domenicali stated. He also noted that Milan's location near Monza, home to the Italian Grand Prix, and its status as a cultural and design capital made it an appropriate venue.

The timing positions F1 Live Milan just before the start of the 2027 Formula 1 season. Domenicali added that the event reflects the sport's commitment to "bring Formula 1 closer to fans than ever before, giving them the chance to see their heroes up close and experience the energy, innovation, and emotion that make Formula 1 so unique."

Tickets will go on sale later in 2026, with pre-registration available beforehand. Formula 1 also plans to broadcast the event across multiple channels for viewers unable to attend in person. An F1 Showcase event for media and partners will take place on February 17, offering preview access to the 2027 season. Additional programming details for the Milan Fan Festival and F1 The Show lineup will be announced in coming months.

The expansion into Milan reflects the motorsport's broader strategy of creating experiential events beyond traditional race broadcasts, particularly as it works to broaden audience reach globally.
