Hyatt is entering Turks & Caicos for the first time through a new Andaz property that will reshape the luxury resort landscape on one of the Caribbean's most coveted islands. The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay will open in the first quarter of 2027 with 132 keys comprising 59 hotel guestrooms and 73 branded residences, positioning the mixed-use property as a significant test of the hospitality group's residential model in the Caribbean.

The resort sits directly on Grace Bay Beach and within steps of the Bight Reef, an ecologically significant coral formation. The 59 hotel keys range from studios to four-bedroom suites, with select accommodations featuring private plunge pools. Ten penthouses will include rooftop pools. The residential component spans studio to four-bedroom condos, plus The Penthouse Collection, which offers one-to-five-bedroom two-story units with roof terraces, plunge pools, and summer kitchens.

The property includes three swimming pools—one designated adults-only—and Runa Spa & Wellness, a 7,000-square-foot facility with five treatment rooms, Finnish sauna, ice baths, and in-room massage services. Three dining concepts will serve the property: Tamarà, described as blending global bistro classics with Caribbean influence; Baie, a poolside restaurant and bar; and Palmette, a cafe and market emphasizing local goods and single-origin coffee.

The resort will operate 34,000 square feet of event space alongside a Kids Club, tennis and pickleball courts, and activities including daily wellness classes, live music, supper clubs, sunset cruises, and jet ski tours. The location provides access to the Junkanoo Museum and Island Fish Fry, as well as snorkeling at both the Bight Reef and a second unnamed coral formation.

The property represents Andaz's first Caribbean island resort. Hyatt's entry into Turks & Caicos through the Andaz brand suggests the hospitality group is prioritizing lifestyle-oriented positioning over volume in an increasingly competitive Caribbean market.
