Level99, an interactive social gaming venue, opens Monday, June 29 at Disney Springs West Side at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Ticket sales launch Monday, June 22 on Level99.com.
The 46,800-square-foot venue features 63 physical and mental life-sized mini-games, the most of any Level99 location to date. Games are dispersed across the first and second floors, with a two-story bar as the centerpiece. Players can engage in cooperative Challenge Rooms, competitive Player-vs-Player Duels and an interactive art scavenger hunt. Each game lasts approximately one to four minutes and accommodates two to six players.
Upon arrival, guests receive a RFID-powered Veloband that unlocks access to challenges. All games are included with admission, and players can attempt each game multiple times in any order. Level99 tracks player progress across all locations, allowing visitors to resume where they left off on return visits and climb leaderboards for rewards. The venue includes more than 40 original art installations, the company's largest collection to date.
The food and beverage program includes Level99's award-winning Detroit-style pizza, wagyu burgers and handcrafted cocktails. Signature items at Disney Springs include the House Burger made with domestic wagyu, sharp white cheddar, caramelized onion, brown butter aioli and brioche, and the Roni, Roni, Roni pizza topped with Ezzo cupping pepperoni, housemade red sauce, pecorino romano, Calabrian chili and fresh basil. Loaded Elote Guacamole served with charred corn, queso fresco, lime crema, Tajín, cilantro and tortillas rounds out the signature offerings.
Tickets start at $29.99 per player for intervals of 1.5 and 2.5 hours of play. A premium pass add-on offers expedited check-in and special gifts. The first 500 players on opening day receive a commemorative pin. Operating hours are Monday through Thursday, 11 am to 10 pm; Friday, 11 am to 11 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 11 pm.
The Disney Springs location is the fourth for Level99, which operates sites in Natick, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; and Tysons, Virginia. Four additional locations are under construction in West Hartford, Connecticut; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Paramus, New Jersey; and Raleigh, North Carolina. Level99 is backed by Act III Holdings, the $2 billion investment vehicle founded by Ron Shaich, former chairman and chief executive of Panera Bread and current chairman of Cava. The company's game library is developed at its production facility in Massachusetts and rotated among venues as new challenges are designed.
