MERIT, the beauty brand founded in 2021, has launched its inaugural hospitality partnership with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, integrating its product line across guest experiences at select properties. The collaboration introduces branded beauty activations, in-room offerings, and a limited-edition MERIT x The Ritz-Carlton Getaway Set available beginning July 14, 2026, while supplies last.

The partnership encompasses eight locations: New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Dallas, Washington, D.C., and Naples. At participating Ritz-Carlton Club Lounges, guests will find complimentary beauty carts stocked with Great Skin Serum, Great Skin Double Cleanse, Clean Volume Mascara, and Flush Balm. The program also includes personalized beauty consultations at select properties, curated in-room beauty bundles accessible through room service, co-branded turndown amenities, and a Minimalist Martini served with a sample of MERIT's Retrospect fragrance.

The Getaway Set—positioned as a travel essential—bundles Great Skin Instant Glow Serum, Great Skin Double Cleanse, Clean Volume Mascara, Flush Balm in Postmodern, and an exclusive branded pouch and keychain. The set is available at participating Ritz-Carlton properties and on meritbeauty.com for a limited period.

MERIT has positioned itself since its 2021 founding around the premise that beauty products should function as everyday essentials requiring minimal expertise. The brand's approach prioritizes simplicity and usability over trend-driven formulations. The Ritz-Carlton, which operates 125 hotels across over 35 countries and territories, has increasingly pursued partnerships that extend brand touchpoints beyond traditional hospitality amenities.

The collaboration represents a shift in how luxury hotels approach branded partnerships, moving away from generic amenity programs toward curated lifestyle extensions that align with guest routines. As The Ritz-Carlton expands its portfolio through Ritz-Carlton Reserve and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, partnerships with consumer brands offer opportunities to deepen guest engagement during stays.
