Ritz-Carlton South Beach Packages José Andrés Venues Into $325 Tasting Tour
The progressive dining experience guides guests through three restaurants in a single evening, requiring advance booking.
The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach has launched Tour de José, a bookable culinary sequence that moves guests through three José Andrés Group concepts housed within the resort over one evening.
The experience routes diners through DiLido Beach Bar, Zaytinya, and Lapidus Bar in sequence. At DiLido Beach Bar, guests begin oceanfront with either Moët & Chandon or a Smokey Margarita alongside a Caviar Cone and Jamón Ibérico de Bellota with Pan Tomate. The itinerary then shifts to Zaytinya for a Chef's Tasting Menu with curated wine pairing drawing from Eastern Mediterranean cuisines. The evening concludes at Lapidus Bar with a signature cocktail and Greek Yogurt with Apricot dessert.
The offering is priced at $325 per guest and requires a minimum one week advance notice for booking. The property positions the experience as a vehicle for combining storytelling, culture, and cuisine across its three culinary venues operated by José Andrés Group.
The multi-venue format reflects a broader strategy among luxury hotels to monetize culinary programming through structured, bookable experiences rather than à la carte dining alone. By packaging distinct restaurants under a unified narrative arc, The Ritz-Carlton converts separate food and beverage operations into a coherent revenue stream tied to a specific price point and advance commitment.
The structure also addresses a persistent challenge in resort hospitality: driving repeat visits to different venues within a single property during a guest's stay. Tour de José channels guests sequentially through locations they might otherwise visit independently or bypass entirely, increasing per-guest spending across multiple outlets and deepening engagement with the José Andrés Group brand presence at the property.
As luxury hotels increasingly compete on experiential programming rather than room rates alone, curated dining journeys that leverage in-house restaurant portfolios offer a relatively low-risk vehicle for incremental revenue and enhanced guest retention metrics.
