Seabourn Quest has completed a comprehensive drydock that touched nearly every guest-facing area of the ship, representing what the company describes as the most extensive interior renovation in the line's history. The updates span suites, dining venues, public gathering spaces and the spa, with Seabourn president Mark Tamis framing the work as reflecting the line's commitment to elevating the passenger experience.

The Club, the ship's evening social hub, underwent the most significant transformation. The redesign introduced a speakeasy-inspired aesthetic with reconfigured layout, updated bar design and new lighting. The revised floor plan aims to improve traffic flow between the bar, lounge seating and dance floor while creating what Seabourn describes as a more cohesive atmosphere for live music and social gatherings. Beyond The Club, public areas including the atrium, corridors and stairways received new carpeting with patterns inspired by water movement. The main pool deck was outfitted with a new sound system and lighting alongside renewed teak decking. Seabourn Square transitioned to what the company calls a living room aesthetic with new furniture and limited bistro-style seating. The Observation Bar received updated carpeting and furnishings to create a brighter setting, while the spa underwent a redesign of its reception area, gym equipment and salon spaces.

Accommodations received new mattresses and wool carpeting across all suite categories, with Penthouse and premium suites also getting updated veranda furniture. The Colonnade dining venue was refreshed with new flooring, carpeting and seating, while The Restaurant received new carpet and drapery described as introducing a lighter, more modern aesthetic. Linh Nguyen, senior manager of interior design and assets management, characterized the design approach as creating spaces that feel natural and intuitively comfortable, using materiality and scale rather than referencing a single destination.

The drydock incorporated sustainability measures. Over 20,000 square meters of carpet were replaced, with original carpet diverted from landfill to be repurposed into new carpet padding for future Seabourn renovations. Updated suites now feature biodegradable Cradle to Cradle Dansk Wilton wool carpet. Mattresses were deconstructed for recycling, and lounge furnishings were donated to a local Italian non-profit organization. The scope of work also included updates to crew areas and accommodations.

Seabourn Quest will continue its Mediterranean season through November 2026, sailing seven-day voyages between Dubrovnik, Fusina (Venice), Istanbul and Athens with stops in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Turkey. Individual voyages can be combined into 14- and 21-day itineraries. Seabourn is offering savings of up to 15 percent on select summer ocean and expedition voyages through its Exploration Event, as well as up to $1,000 in shipboard credit per suite on select winter voyages.

The renovation reflects an ongoing capital deployment cycle across Seabourn's fleet, signaling the operator's willingness to invest substantially in mature tonnage to maintain competitive positioning in the ultra-luxury segment.
