St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has opened The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort, Cancún, a beachfront property positioned in the Costa Mujeres enclave north of Cancún. The resort features 163 guestrooms and 50 suites, with accommodations including private balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Signature suites include the Caroline Astor and the Presidential Suite.

The property was designed by architectural firm Sordo Madaleno and draws inspiration from the Yucatán Peninsula's Maya heritage and natural landscape. Design elements throughout the resort reference the nearby El Meco archaeological site, with intricate stonework, sculptural lighting nodding to celestial symbolism of Ixchel and Itzamná, and a dramatic lobby chandelier evoking movement of the Caribbean Sea and the region's cenotes. Materials include woven textures, bentwood furnishings, hand-painted murals, abstract tilework, and brass accents.

The resort operates nine distinct food and beverage outlets. Costa Coral serves as the all-day dining venue focused on Mexican culinary traditions, while Fish Market emphasizes Caribbean-inspired seafood. Palmare Grill features Mexican coastal cuisine on the beach, and Shami offers a rooftop concept combining Japanese technique with Mexican Caribbean ingredients. Additional venues include The St. Regis Bar and Jack's Club.

Wellness facilities include The St. Regis Spa with a thermal circuit, hydrotherapy experiences, the Iridium Lounge, and 16 bespoke treatment suites, including two Signature Spa Suites with private Jacuzzis. Treatments blend international skincare with traditional Mexican healing ingredients, including a signature Sea Salt Spa Treatment. The resort also features an oceanfront infinity pool and fitness center.

Event space totals approximately 9,687 square feet and includes the Astor Ballroom for weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. The resort offers programming through the Kids Club for families, along with the signature St. Regis Butler Service and rituals such as Afternoon Tea and Evening Champagne Sabrage, alongside locally inspired experiences including sunrise ceremonies and ocean excursions supporting coral reef restoration.

George Fleck, Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, stated the opening honors the brand's founding vision by John Jacob Astor IV to journey to the world's most enchanting destinations and create places embodying grandeur and lasting allure. The property marks an expansion of St. Regis' resort portfolio in Mexico and the Mexican Caribbean.
